Carved from a solid block of Norwegian Rose marble, this 1950s table lamp is a refined study in form, material, and mid-century craftsmanship. Produced by the Vermont Marble Company of Proctor—one of America’s most respected marble manufacturers—the piece showcases the timeless elegance of this rare, dusty pink stone.

The rectangular silhouette highlights the marble’s natural veining, with soft whites and grays running through a warm pink ground. It’s a minimal form with maximal impact—petite in scale, but rich in presence. The quiet luxury of the material, paired with its sculptural simplicity, recalls the work of design figures like Karl Springer and Giulio Lazzotti.

Topped with a crisp white shade, the lamp offers a clean, versatile aesthetic that easily adapts to a range of interiors—from modernist to collected, refined to organic. Whether used on a bedside table, console, or writing desk, it brings warmth and natural texture without overpowering its setting.

CONDITION:

Great vintage condition with original polish and soft gloss intact. Minor wear includes a small chip on the front right corner (see photos), which blends into the veining and does not detract from the overall appearance. Retains original vintage wiring; fully functional and ready to use.

DIMENSIONS:

WITH SHADE: 10” W X 10” D X 16" TALL

WITHOUT SHADE: 3.5" W X 3.5" D X 12" TALL (height measured to the light bulb)

Scattered Galeries partners with trusted third-party delivery providers to facilitate White Glove Delivery services within the contiguous 48 states. All shipments are handled independently by third-party providers.

The White Glove Delivery Service includes careful transport and in-home placement of furniture. The delivery team will bring the item into the preferred room, unpack it, place it as directed, and remove all packaging materials.

Orders typically ship within 3-6 weeks, though in rare cases, it may take up to 8 weeks to coordinate delivery. A notification will be sent once the item has shipped. This shipping process is designed to accommodate the specialized handling required for vintage and specialty pieces, which is why third-party furniture shippers are used instead of standard carriers like UPS, USPS, or FedEx.

Once the shipper is ready to schedule delivery, they will contact the recipient directly to arrange a date and time frame. Rural deliveries may require additional scheduling time due to limited routes. To prepare for delivery, a clear path should be ensured to the designated room, as the delivery team cannot move or rearrange existing furniture. A signature will be required upon receipt. If the delivery location presents any challenges—such as tight stairways, narrow hallways, or additional obstacles—there may be additional fees.

For details on delivery timelines, potential additional fees, and how to prepare for delivery, please refer to the Shipping Policy or contact support with any questions.
