Carved from richly veined pink onyx, this monumental 1970s coffee table is a study in material, scale, and restraint. Blush tones, rose hues, rust-colored veins, and soft browns move across the surface in layered compositions that shift subtly with the light—earthy, luminous, and full of quiet depth.
Sourced from Mexico, a region celebrated for its exceptional onyx, the table’s tessellated construction showcases a refined approach to natural stone. Its low, monolithic form nods to mid-century modernism, allowing the material to speak for itself—bold, sculptural, and unmistakably one-of-a-kind.
Formed over millions of years in mineral-rich limestone caverns, pink onyx carries a geological presence that’s hard to replicate. Here, that raw history is shaped into a piece that feels at once grounded and elevated—more sculpture than furniture.
The design balances organic modernism with brutalist sensibilities, anchoring a space with warmth and weight. It fits effortlessly into minimalist settings, contemporary homes, or interiors that lean toward the collected and art-driven.

Ships via White Glove Delivery
Scattered Galeries partners with trusted third-party delivery providers to facilitate White Glove Delivery services within the contiguous 48 states. All shipments are handled independently by third-party providers.
The White Glove Delivery Service includes careful transport and in-home placement of furniture. The delivery team will bring the item into the preferred room, unpack it, place it as directed, and remove all packaging materials.
Orders typically ship within 3-6 weeks, though in rare cases, it may take up to 8 weeks to coordinate delivery. A notification will be sent once the item has shipped. This shipping process is designed to accommodate the specialized handling required for vintage and specialty pieces, which is why third-party furniture shippers are used instead of standard carriers like UPS, USPS, or FedEx.
Once the shipper is ready to schedule delivery, they will contact the recipient directly to arrange a date and time frame. Rural deliveries may require additional scheduling time due to limited routes. To prepare for delivery, a clear path should be ensured to the designated room, as the delivery team cannot move or rearrange existing furniture. A signature will be required upon receipt. If the delivery location presents any challenges—such as tight stairways, narrow hallways, or additional obstacles—there may be additional fees.
For details on delivery timelines, potential additional fees, and how to prepare for delivery, please refer to the Shipping Policy or contact support with any questions.
