This 1980s travertine coffee table finds its voice in simplicity. With clean geometry, a hollow plinth base, and a beveled edge that catches light just so, it highlights the natural elegance of stone without saying too much.
Warm sand tones and soft veining drift across the surface, giving it a quiet sense of movement—as if the stone itself is still in conversation with time. Formed by mineral-rich springs over centuries, this travertine carries a legacy that spans from ancient amphitheaters to modern interiors, now reinterpreted in a compact sculptural form.
Its minimalist design places texture and tone at the forefront, making it a seamless addition to mid-century or organic modern spaces. The honed finish reveals the stone’s natural glow, softening the profile while bringing depth and warmth to the surface.
Understated but far from forgettable, it’s a grounded piece with just enough edge.

Ships via White Glove Delivery
Scattered Galeries partners with trusted third-party delivery providers to facilitate White Glove Delivery services within the contiguous 48 states. All shipments are handled independently by third-party providers.
The White Glove Delivery Service includes careful transport and in-home placement of furniture. The delivery team will bring the item into the preferred room, unpack it, place it as directed, and remove all packaging materials.
Orders typically ship within 3-6 weeks, though in rare cases, it may take up to 8 weeks to coordinate delivery. A notification will be sent once the item has shipped. This shipping process is designed to accommodate the specialized handling required for vintage and specialty pieces, which is why third-party furniture shippers are used instead of standard carriers like UPS, USPS, or FedEx.
Once the shipper is ready to schedule delivery, they will contact the recipient directly to arrange a date and time frame. Rural deliveries may require additional scheduling time due to limited routes. To prepare for delivery, a clear path should be ensured to the designated room, as the delivery team cannot move or rearrange existing furniture. A signature will be required upon receipt. If the delivery location presents any challenges—such as tight stairways, narrow hallways, or additional obstacles—there may be additional fees.
For details on delivery timelines, potential additional fees, and how to prepare for delivery, please refer to the Shipping Policy or contact support with any questions.
